COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Local entertainer Fuscia won $10,000 during the Freedom Friday All-White Party in Atlanta last Friday.

Judges for the "State Farm's Sing Your Way to the 2014 Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards" finale included Grammy, Stellar, Dove, American Music, NAACP Image, Yolanda Adams, David Mann, and Carla Ferrell.

"The decision of the judges was unanimous," said Adams.

When asked about her big win, Fuscia said, "A long road traveled for your gift is far better than a twenty foot trip across the street.  Hard work pays off and God will surely make room for your gift."

Fuscia started singing with her church choir at Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield, N.J. at the age of eight. Today, she is working on her debut album.

Fuscia is on the praise and worship team at Kingdom Awareness church in Columbus. She has opened concerts for Charlie Wilson, David and Tamela Mann, as well as comedians Bruce Bruce and Earthquake.

Her debut show, ‘Just Before Midnight with Fuscia & Friends', where she will be singing with her live band, will take place on October 24, 2014 at The Gallery at Fountain Park on Macon Rd., A Petra G. Production. Tickets and VIP tables are available by calling 706-324-2404.
