Giles Co. man arrested after police find active meth lab

PULASKI, TN (WSMV) -

A man was arrested on Monday after police in Giles County say they found an active meth lab.

Douglas Arnold Watts Jr., 65, is facing charges of initiation of meth manufacture, manufacture marijuana, possession of marijuana for resale and possession of firearms for the commission of a dangerous felony.

Police say they also found several large marijuana plants and packaged marijuana on the property.

The Giles County Office of Emergency Management, the Giles County Meth Task Force, the Giles County Rescue Squad decontamination unit and the Tennessee Meth Task Force assisted the Giles County Sheriff's Department in the investigation.

Watts is being held at the Giles County jail on a $34,500 bond.
