Prosecution and Defense rest in Coleman murder trial

After ten days of testimony, the Prosecution and Defense have both rested in the murder trial of a Columbus trio accused of killing a police informant.

Daphne Castille, her son Jamal Castille, and friend Dantrell Marshall are facing several charges, including murder, in connection to the death of Castille's cousin and police informant David Coleman.

A fourth suspect, Terrell Mars, accepted a plea deal in exchange for his testimony against the others.

Authorities claim the group was involved in trafficking illegal drugs, armed bank robbery, gang affiliation, and murder.

Closing arguments are scheduled to begin in the morning on Thursday, Aug. 14.
