Aerial map released for White Water Classic football game

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

Parks and Recreation Director Todd Hughes reveals that the game day map for the White Water Classic complete with parking and staging areas has been finished.

The aerial photo shows vendor areas, tailgating areas, shuttle stops and even an iHeart Radio music stage all mapped out in spots around Garrett-Harrison Stadium on Summerville Road. It's just one of the tools Hughes says the city is using to promote the game.

"It helps us get the information out to the people," Hughes said. "Now they can actually go on and visually-- a lot of people can visualize better than they can if you just try to tell them. So now they can go out there and they can see the area. And those that are familiar with the area can kind of picture where they want to get to experience the tailgating of the White Water Classic."

The game will be held on Saturday, September 13 in Phenix City where Tuskegee University will host Albany State University. Kick off is at 3 p.m.
