UPDATE: Randy Morris answers in the ALS IceBucket Challenge

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - On Tuesday, I took the plunge, literally, answering the challenge from CVCC head baseball coach Adam Thomas in the ALS IceBucket Challenge.

Yes, it was cold. Oh, brother.

I issued two challenges to area baseball coaches to follow, and on Friday, Northern All-Stars manager Randy Morris stepped up.

The other challenge was to Russell County HS head coach Tony Rasmus, who has been rather busy. Rasmus and wife Robin are in Williamsport. Pa. to accept the award as Little League Parents of the year at the World Series, as they return to the site of their success in 1999 when Phenix City National won the U.S. Championship.

We'll be hearing from Tony soon, I do believe.

And by the way, kudos to everyone who has stepped up to help raise money to fight this disease.
