Sentencing in Castille murder trial

Convicted murderers have now received their sentencing after being found guilty of killing a police informant.

Daphne Castille and her son, Jamal Castille, were both sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Dantrell Marshall has been sentenced to 12 years total, serving six in prison, and the rest on probation. This sentence is taking into consideration the crime, and the fact that he was not granted first offender status.

The three convicts were all found guilty of violating the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act in connection to the 2008 murder of Castille's cousin and police informant 20-year-old David Coleman.
