PHOENIX (CBS5) -

For the second time this week, a Phoenix police officer is being accused of being on the other side of the law.

First, a sergeant who is accused of stealing from a Hobby Lobby resigned this week.

Now, Lt. Chris Moore is part of an ongoing investigation, CBS 5 News has confirmed.

Moore is currently on paid administrative leave.

A police department spokesman said Moore is part of an ongoing investigation into precinct spending, but would not comment further.

CBS 5 News also confirmed a criminal investigation underway, as well.

Just five days ago, Moore was named winner of the Supervisor of the Year Award.
