Flagstaff PD: Jewelry heist suspects connected to more robberies

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -

Flagstaff police say investigators have uncovered the suspects wanted in a June jewelry heist and believe they've committed other robberies outside of Flagstaff.

On June 24, the suspects robbed Jim Anderson Jewelers and fled, abandoning the vehicle in a nearby neighborhood and then using a second vehicle to outrun officers, police said.

Flagstaff police have identified the gunman in the robbery but say they're not releasing his name at this time to protect the investigation.

Flagstaff police spokeswoman Sgt. Margaret Bentzen said they're working with several other agencies to identify the suspects in the robberies outside of the Flagstaff area.
