BIRMINGHAM, AL (WTVM) - A Georgia man has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that could be linked to a murder in Columbus.

James Armstrong III of Conyers, Ga. is charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of two bike club members in Birmingham, Ala.

He is now being held without bond and is awaiting extradition to Birmingham.

Investigators there are working with Columbus detectives to determine a possible link between that shooting and the death of Columbus biker, Bobby Ray Stewart.

Stewart was killed in a shooting at the Supper Club on August 23.

Armstrong has not been charged with Stewart's murder.
