MOST WANTED: David Brickhouse

(WTVM) -

Muscogee County Sheriff Officials need your help locating a wanted sex offender.

News Leader 9's Semone Doughton has all the information you need in this week's Most Wanted segment.

This area of 49th Street in Columbus is the last known area 41-year old David Brickhouse was spotted.

Brickhouse currently has a Felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and police want him off the streets ASAP!

"He was supposed to come up and see us and he didn't but when our sex offender register guys went out there to check on his last known address they were not able to locate him," says Muscogee County Sheriff Deputy Jeffrey Hackey.

Deputy Hackey says Brickhouse was originally convicted on two counts of Aggravated Child Molestation in July 2006.

Brickhouse is a white male with hazel eyes and brown hair. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Although his last known address was located off 49th Street in Columbus, police say there are no signs of him there now.

According to Deputy Hackey, a lot of sex offenders could avoid being sought by police if they would simply register when they're expected to.

"Come downtown, come to the Government Center, give us the new information we need whether it's your birthday or if you've changed addresses, whatever the case maybe and you can go on your merry way."

Remember with your help, police can make an arrest and bring this wanted man to justice.

Police need any information you can offer them regarding the whereabouts of David Brickhouse.

Just call (706) 653-4225 if you can help police locate Brickhouse. Remember, your identity will remain anonymous.
