Columbus Police searching for motor vehicle theft suspects

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus Police are requesting the public's assistance identifying three suspects responsible for two unrelated motor vehicle thefts.

The most recent incident happened on Sept. 7 on Manchester Expressway in a McDonald's parking lot. Police say an unidentified male took a car key that the victim left on a counter inside McDonald's. He then went to the parking lot and stole the victim's vehicle.

The second car theft incident involves two males who stole a flat bed trailer containing a Honda four-wheeler on Aug. 28. This crime happened at an apartment complex located at 8500 Franciscan Woods Drive.
