Oktoberfest returns to The Hotel at Auburn University

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Calling all craft-beer enthusiasts! On September 20, The Hotel at Auburn University will bring back the ever-popular Oktoberfest.

Presale tickets are available online for $35 or $45 at the door after September 18.

Twenty-five featured breweries from across the country will be at the festival, including more than 100 craft beers.

New this year is the Homebrew Alley, which features the top 10 Homebrew contestants selected by BJCP certified judges and The Hotel at Auburn University.

Two musical performances and authentic German food will also be available.

Event coordinators say they are expecting between 800 to 1,000 attendees for the festival.

The festival schedule is as follows:

Judging of Homebrew Alley Beers: 2:30 p.m.

Festival Hours: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Homebrew Alley Winner Announced: 8 p.m.

Homebrew Alley Crowd Favorite Announced: 8:05 p.m.
