PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Many across the Chattahoochee Valley are ready for Saturday's first ever White Water Classic football game, and they celebrated Friday night with a concert.
National recording group Jagged Edge headlined the performance in the Phenix City Amphitheater on Sept. 12, which also featured the D.S.O.S. Band from Columbus.
The event helped get people amped up for the big matchup between Tuskegee and Albany State.
Phenix City's economic manager Sean Culligan expects the event to generate at least $400,000 for the city.
