COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It's time again for the 8th annual Paint Columbus Pink Initiative, which promotes breast cancer awareness.
This year's events include an all new foam and obstacle challenge, which will use 50,000 thousand gallons of foam.
Event founder Jan Hynman is looking to set a new record with this year's event.
"This is so exciting for us," Hyneman said. "We want to honor our cancer survivors in the area. And by doing this we are going to attempt for the record in the state of Georgia for the largest human pink ribbon. So we need your support. Come on out!"
The 8th annual Paint Columbus Pink will be Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at Cascade Hills.
