COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Thursday is ABC's power night for women with shows like "Scandal" and "How To Get Away With Murder" featuring women who are strong and in charge, but one of the nation's most powerful women in business can be found here in Columbus.

As the newly-appointed president of Aflac U.S., White is the first woman and first African American to hold the position.

She shared her vision for the Fortune 200 company with us and talked about how she manages to strike a balance between work and family in one of her first interviews since her appointment.

"I think one of the hardest things I do is say no," White said. "Sometimes you have to have those tradeoffs and we always talk about work family balance, we have to really practice it because we can't do everything. We can't be all things to all people."
