AU Student Center reopens after bomb threat

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - The Auburn University Student Center has reopened after a bomb threat was called in Friday evening.

Auburn Police Chief Paul Register tells us a "very young male" called the Foy information desk at about 5:40 p.m. Central and made a bomb threat.

Police responded to the scene and evacuated the building. After a thorough search, they determined the building was clear.

Police are continuing to investigate. We will update this story with more details as they become available.
