COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - 69 year old Charles Walls showed up at Recorder's Court at 8 a.m. on October 11, 2014.
Joseph Martel and Monique Jones also stood next to Walls for the same incident.
Walls was arrested Friday for shooting Brandon Langlands in the chest on October 9, 2014 around 8 p.m near the intersection of young Avenue and 43rd Street.
According to authorities at Recorder's Court Saturday morning, Walls was in a verbal argument with Joseph Martel when Walls pulled out his firearm. Langlands intervened and tried to calm the argument, but Walls ended up shooting Langlands once in the chest.
Monique Jones was in a physical altercation with Martel before the shooting. Martel was intoxicated at the time, and Jones and Martel both received bruises from the argument.
The three will return to Recorder's Court on October 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. for their hearing.
Walls has been charged with aggravated assault for 25,000 dollars. He is also charged with possession of firearm during commission of crime for 10,000 dollars.
Martel and Jones are both charged with city ordinance charges.
Langlands is still in unsatisfactory condition as of Saturday morning.
