Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton says the first victim who passed away from the accident on Miller Road was 35 year-old Robert W. Isaacs from Talbot County.

News Leader 9's Dante Renzulli reported one victim was lying in the middle of the road near a car with severe front end damage.

Patrol says driver of vehicle one attempted to make a U-turn on Miller Rd. towards Moon Rd., but he turned down the wrong lane and struck the car head-on.

Another car ended up off the road and adjacent to the tree line.

According to Isaacs' family, the female passenger who was in the car with him was his fiancée. Newton cannot disclose other information right now regarding the fiancée or the other driver's information.

He says the two are alive and receiving treatment at Midtown Medical Center.
