Army soldiers attacked by 2 unknown suspects on Victory Dr.

FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) -

Five soldiers who live on Fort Benning were held up at gunpoint by two suspects at 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, according to a police report.

The victims were driving a 2011 model Subaru Impreza when they encountered two black males wearing dark colored clothing. The incident occurred near Victory Drive and Elvan Avenue. 

Authorities say the suspects fired shots at the victims with a pistol and damaged the car.

The damage is estimated to cost about $500. None of the victim's items were stolen. 

No one was injured and police are now investigating this case as an aggravated assault.
