COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Muscogee County School Board approved phase three of its re-organization plan at a meeting November 17.
Superintendent David Lewis has been recommending all schools be placed in one of three regions, affecting 34 administrative positions.
The board also approved renovations for Jordan High School's auditorium, along with appointments to the positions of director of school nutrition and army instruction.
There was no big discussion on the battle with the district's school bus drivers. This is the first time the board met since those drivers talked with the superintendent about their pay situation.
