It's the latest in a series of unsolved robberies in Columbus.

Police are looking for three men who robbed a liquor store on Warm Springs Road at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

An employee of the Little Package Store called 911 and told dispatchers three armed men just stole money from him at gunpoint.

Police responded to the scene in numbers, but so far, there have been no arrests.

The business owner said he is disappointed that the suspects would want to steal from a hard-working family. He regularly puts in thirteen-hour days just to pay the bills.  As soon as police left, he reopened the store because he said he couldn't afford to stay closed another minute.

"What am I going to do?  Sit back at home? We have to work now.  There are four of us here with children and wives.  We have to pay rent, pay for bills.  The cash register is empty.  We are trying to get a little bit of money from out of our pockets to restart it," said Devinder Singh.

Two of the men left the scene in a gold sedan, and another ran away on foot.  Police found a gold Pontiac Grand Am abandoned on the Interstate near St. Marys Road, but they later determined that it was not the getaway car.

We first heard about this robbery through the Northeast Columbus Neighborhood Watch group on Facebook.
