Time magazine

has announced that the Ebola fighters are the Time's Person of The Year for 2014.

The announcement was made Wednesday morning in New York.

s Person of The Year issues will hit newsstands this Friday.

The last time a group of people were named Person of the Year was 2011 when The Protesters were selected for their actions in the Middle East during the Arab Spring in Egypt.
