COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus church is increasing security after being burglarized twice in one week.
Rob Strickland, the pastor of Highland Community Church on 5th Avenue, said the thieves' actions will have a negative impact on many people in need in the community.
"We also on Monday night learned that we lost about a $1,000 worth of food,” Pastor Strickland said. “We use that food every day to feed about 2,500 hundred people here in this neighborhood."
Pastor Strickland says the thieves took TV's, DVD's and supplies from their children's wing.
