Former CSU student remembered during candle light vigil

Candle light celebrates Foster

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Family members and friends joined together today to remember a former CSU student who was shot two years while celebrating the New Year.

24-year-old Charles Foster Jr. was shot in the chest at the Majestic Sports Bar.

Foster's life was remembered today at the Garden of Prayer Church.

During the candle light vigil balloons were released in Foster's honor.

A Columbus jury found Dequandrea Truitt and Shaquille Porter guilty of killing Foster and wounding six others.

They were both sentenced to life with the possibility of parole.
