LAS VEGAS (WTVM) – If you hate alarm clocks or smartphones waking you up, the Misfit Bolt is the perfect alternative for you.

Misfit, a fitness tracking company, has created a Wi-Fi connected bulb that is supposed to wake you up with a soft light.

The bulb can be controlled with the Misfit Home app for iOS and Android. The app has different lighting settings allowing users to set the mood in a room: warm glow, bright day, sunset, rainbow, forest, and many more.

The bulb is also compatible with the Misfit Shine wearable and Beddit sleep tracker to wake you up.

You do not have to wait long to get your hands on this new gadget, the Misfit Bolt is set to debut in February on the company's website and on Amazon. One bulb for the Misfit Bolt costs $49.99 or three for $129.99.
