COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A suspect in a Columbus home invasion is set to appear in court Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Investigators say Tyree Hoagland and four additional suspects entered a home on Clubhouse Road at approximately 4:54 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12. According to the victim, one of the suspects put a gun to her head and demanded money.
After hearing the victim scream, the victim's husband walked out of their bedroom and fired several shots at the suspects, who then fled the scene.
One of the suspects, 28-year-old Antonio Bell, was injured and later transported to Midtown Medical Center for surgery. He is still listed in critical condition at this time.
Detectives have also arrested 28-year-old Gabriella Streeter and 22-year-old Jonathan Robinson for their involvement in the home invasion.
Streeter and Robinson were both charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt armed robbery, and first degree home invasion.
Detectives also have outstanding warrants for 29-year-old Leroy Strong, who is believed to be the fifth suspect in the home invasion. Strong is wanted for first degree home invasion, criminal attempt armed robbery, and aggravated assault.
