AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Auburn police have arrested two suspects on charges in connection to a shooting last fall.
On Thursday, Jan. 15 the Auburn Police Division arrested 28-year-old Demorio C. Moore of Auburn, Ala.
Moore was arrested on felony warrants charging him with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling, and a misdemeanor warrant charging him with failure to appear.
Additionally, 30-year-old Francesca J. Thomas, also of Auburn, Ala., was arrested on a felony warrant charging her with first degree hindering prosecution.
Moore's arrest was the result of an investigation that began on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2014 when the Auburn Police Division responded to the 400 block of Webster Road in reference to a shooting.
Police met with a victim that advised multiple suspects fired shots at him and then fled the scene. Police also located a residence in the area was struck by gunfire.
Moore was developed as a suspect, and he was subsequently arrested and charged. Thomas' arrest stemmed from circumstances leading to the search and arrest for Moore.
Moore was transported to the Lee County Jail and will eligible for a $125,500 bond. Thomas was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $3,000 bond.
