Troup Co. Sheriff arrests man connected with commercial burglaries; wife in custody

TROUP COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - A man who was wanted in connection with burglarizing several businesses in Georgia and Alabama has been detained just a day after his wife was arrested for the same crimes.

The Troup County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 28-year-old Marcus Floyd on Friday.

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged Travanique Floyd. 28, of Chambers County, AL, with first-degree burglary and obstruction of officers on Thursday.

Investigators believe the couple has participated in a number of commercial burglaries throughout Georgia and Alabama in the last few months.
