COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Marion County High hosted the Future Business Leadership conference at its school today, January 29.
The event featured close to 500 attendees from over 15 different counties who came to learn what it takes to succeed in the professional world.
The conference featured online testing and workshops given by business professionals.
Educators and students spoke about the benefits of the event.
"This is one of those extracurricular activities that can really prepare you for the real world and working in the real world," says Sherry McAllister, a business teacher.
"I believe that in the future it will help me become successful person in the workforce," says participant Alex Dumas.
