COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus church is accepting donations after their sanctuary went up in flames last week.

Igelsia de Dios Neuvo Pacto or Church Of God's New Covenant on Primose Road was damaged in a fire that started at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30.

There's still no word on how the fire started, and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is handling the investigation.

The church is now reaching out the community to rebuilt. According to the church's Facebook post, many people have offered to help so they opened a PayPal account and a P.O. Box. Community members who wish to donate can click here
