Police seek suspect following Mike's Mart Too robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

On Feb. 1 at approximately 9:40 p.m., CPD responded to Mike's Mart Too, located at 5731 Veterans Parkway, in reference to an armed robbery.

The clerk told police that the suspect entered the store, grabbed her by the hair and demanded money. After taking the money from the register, the suspect left the store in a green Ford Crown Victoria.

The clerk said while the suspect mentioned having a gun, she did not see one at the time of the crime.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing around 5'5" to 5'8", weighing between 200 to 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black no. 7 Mike Vick jersey, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
