COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Dr. Paula Walker King from Columbus State University came on the morning show today to talk about measles: its symptoms and the recent controversy of whether or not to vaccinate your children.
Since January, at least 102 cases of measles have been confirmed throughout 14 states in the U.S.
Symptoms of measles include:
- high fever
- runny nose
- red, watery eyes
The CDC is asking parents to get your kids vaccinated as the measles are highly contagious.The best way to prevents the measles is to get vaccinated.
