. - COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - There was a heavy police presence where Ada Avenue dead ends near Gould Street in Columbus on Friday.
Around 9:30 a.m. U.S. Marshals went looking for Otis Perry, who is wanted for a Columbus homicide that happened in 2014.
Once they received information that he could be at the residence on Ada Avenue, they knocked on the door and forced themselves into the residence. That is when they found two males were attempting to destroy a large amount of narcotics.
The two subjects were taken into custody for the drugs and were handed over to Metro Narcotics.
The murder suspect, Perry, was not inside the home.
