Missing teen girl found in Phenix City

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - With help from the public, Phenix City Police found the teen girl that was missing.

The police received several anonymous tips that assisted in locating 19-year-old Savannah Stanton.

Officials said Savannah Lynn Stanton was last seen leaving her foster residence in Phenix City, Ala. on Feb. 22 at about 5 p.m. going for a walk. 

Stanton was found safe in Phenix City.

The incident occurred in Funchess hall at Auburn.  A hazardous chemical was reportedly poured down the drain during the cleanup process in one of the rooms being cleaned.
