2 women robbed during Macon Rd. Days Inn armed robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Two women were robbed by two men in a hotel room on Thursday morning, according to Columbus Police Department incident reports.

The reports state that the two women were robbed at gunpoint for their possessions, and one of the alleged gunman threatened to shoot them if they did not give them their valuables.

The incident happened at the Days Inn, located at 3452 Macon Rd. inside one of the rooms.

The victims described the suspects as being two black males standing between 5'8" and 5'10", both with slim builds and their faces covered with either masks or bandannas. It is unclear if the victims knew the suspects.

The report also indicates that the suspects left the scene in a 2008 to 2010 four-door silver Chevrolet Impala.

One of the victims had a Michael Kors handbag and wallet stolen, totaling in value of $517.00, along with a set of keys. The second victim was robbed of cell phone and $200 in cash.

The case is currently under investigation.
