CPD searching for suspects in grocery store armed robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department is searching for two suspects in connection to a grocery store robbery on Friday, March 6. 

At 9:20 a.m., police responded to San Luis Grocery on Hamilton Road in reference to an armed robbery. 

The store clerk reported that two Hispanic males entered the store, pointed their guns at two employees and demanded money.  

After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspects fled the store in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as follows:

The first suspect is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown and tan plaid jacket, a white mask, and sunglasses.

The second suspect is 5 feet 6 inches tall and also weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue jean jacket, orange knit hat, and white sunglasses.
