COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The eleventh and final SPLOST forum for the community was held Tuesday evening.
People were able to find out where the funds will go and how it will affect tax payers.
Muscogee County School District Superintendent Dr. David Lewis joined the Young Professionals of Columbus to answer any questions residents had.
We're now exactly one week away from the official voting day on The Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum.
Dr. Lewis and the group also discussed both the support and opposition for the projects...and why it's important to the Young Professionals.
"I hope to be engaging in conversation answering any questions people have about the SPLOST and the projects that are on the list," Lewis stated.
Nearly 3,700 people have participated in early voting, which ends this Friday.
