COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - One local company and music group "toasted" the community of Columbus on Friday night.
The Columbus Symphony Orchestra held its annual Synovus "Toast of the Town" at the RiverMill Event Center on March 13.
Guests were treated to world-class wines, handcrafted beers, and delicious Southern spirits while dining on food prepared by some of the region's most celebrated chefs.
Additionally, guests were able to mingle with chefs and brewmasters who were on hand to share their unique tastes and toasts.
"This is actually the largest fundraiser for The Columbus Symphony Orchestra," said event coordinator Lisa Neal. "You'll see lots of just out of college and lots of grandparents here. This year one of the things that we really wanted to focus on was to actually have the musicians here."
This is the sixth year for the "Toast of the Town." All proceeds go to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
