COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – After a four day highway safety course here in Columbus, more than a dozen graduates will be on hand to make sure your child is properly secured all at no cost!
Safe Kids Columbus is helping protect children across the Valley with a free car seat check this Friday.
The event is sponsored by the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute.
"If you've ever wondered is my car seat correct, is my child in the right seat, is my child facing the right direction, is my car seat working okay, are there problems with your car seat? Now's the time to come and get it checked because we will have 15 brand new car seat technicians ready to check your car seat," Pam Fair said.
The free car seat check is this Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. It's taking place in the fenced parking lot across the street from the back of the Health Department.
If you need any more information, you can call the Health Department at (706) 321-6183.
