Columbus woman arrested, charged in using knife to attack woman

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus woman was arrested and charged in the aggravated assault of another woman, according to a Columbus Police Department incident report.

Treesha Anderson, 31, was arrested on March 22 when police were called to a residence in the 800 block of Morris Road at midnight.

The victim at that residence appeared to have a cut on her right hand when police arrived and she and two witnesses stated that Anderson used a knife in an attack against her.

Anderson was arrested and charged will aggravated assault. The case was cleared following Anderson's arrest. She currently remains in Muscogee County Jail.
