WTVM, MCSD to livestream high school graduation ceremonies for third consecutive year

Graduation ceremonies start on May 21

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM/WXTX) – The Muscogee County School District has announced the dates and times for the 2014-2015 high schools graduations.

All ceremonies and rehearsals will be held at the Columbus Civic Center and

live streamed on WTVM.com on this page.

The graduation ceremony schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 22

  • Columbus High School – 4 p.m.
  • William Henry Shaw High School – 6:30 p.m.
  • Hardaway High School – 9 p.m.

Saturday, May 23

  • Jordan Vocational High School – 9 a.m.
  • George Washington Carver High School – 11:00 a.m.
  • William Henry Spencer High School – 1:30 p.m.
  • Northside High School – 4 p.m.
  • Kendrick High School – 6:30 p.m.

While family and friends celebrate this joyous occasion, it is also important to remember the following rules:

  • Clap only after each row has been called to allow families and guests to hear the name of each student. Those who do not comply will be escorted out.
  • Pictures may be taken from an individual's seat without interfering with others viewing the ceremony.
  • No one is allowed on the floor where graduates are seated.
  • Gifts or an exchange of items to graduates should be handled outside the center following the graduation ceremony, but not in the hallways because they need to be cleared for other guests and graduates to enter the graduation.
