CPD searches for 2 alleged armed robbery suspects of Fort Benning Rd. Circle K

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department reported that units were dispatched to the Circle K store at 2233 Fort Benning Road in reference to an armed robbery shortly after midnight Tuesday.

Upon their arrival the clerk stated that two robbers, armed with handguns, entered the business and demanded all of the money. The robbers then fled from the store and were last seen heading towards Ticknor Drive.

No injuries were reported to the police officers.

One robbery suspect is being described as a black male, 20 to 25 yrs. old, about 5'9" tall and approximately 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie with "GEORGIA" on the front of it, black pants and black shoes. His face was covered with a White cloth.

The second robbery suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, about 5'9" tall and approximately 130 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and red and black shoes. His face was covered with a White cloth.
