COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Muscogee County teacher who's already been awarded the Teacher of the Year in 2013 has been named as a finalist for the statewide award.
Kimberly Lester, a writing and language arts teacher at the St. Elmo Center for the Gifted, has been named as one of 10 finalist for the 2016 Georgia Teacher of the Year finalists.
Lester was the 2013 Muscogee County Teacher of the Year while a teacher at Britt Davis Magnet Academy.
