COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus firefighters are working to determine what started a fire that destroyed a home on Luckie St. early Tuesday morning.
The fire started just after 3:30 a.m. at 3022 Luckie St.
When firefighters arrived, the house was engulfed in flames.
Officials say the homeowner was inside asleep when the fire started, but was awoken by the smell of smoke and was able to get out unharmed.
