COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus murder suspect is in custody four months after he allegedly committed a crime.
According to Columbus Police Department Lt. Ronnie Hastings, Otis Perry turned himself in to authorities around 4 a.m. on Friday.
Lt. Hastings says Perry was wanted for the December shooting death of Marquise Shivers. The shooting happened on the 4000 block of 6th Ave. in Columbus. Shivers was taken to the Midtown Medical Center where he later died.
Perry is now in custody and will appear in recorder's court on Saturday April 19 at 8 a.m. Stay connected to News Leader 9 for more details on this story as they become available.
