COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Police Department have arrested a man in connection with the robbery of a local bar and restaurant and several additional crimes.
CPD arrested Justin Chancey Moore, 28, on May 6 in connection with the armed robbery of Speakeasy and for a home invasion at Terminal Court apartments.
Moore is accused of robbing Speakeasy on March 27, when he allegedly forced the manager inside the business and demanded money at gunpoint.
Moore is currently being held in the Muscogee County Jail. He has been charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, first-degree home invasion, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.
Moore has two court appearances scheduled for 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday. His first court appearance was Thursday morning.
