COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – On Friday, May 8 the Columbus Police Department's Special Operations Unit conducted a prostitution and pandering sting in a local Columbus hotel.
Several officers worked undercover during the operation which led to many arrests.
According to Columbus police, a total of 10 men were arrested during the operation and nine of them were charged with pandering while the other one was charged with possession of marijuana. Two of the nine men that were arrested also faced misdemeanor marijuana charges.
The Special Operations Unit plans to conduct more of these sting operations at various locations throughout the remaining of the year.
