COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM/WXTX) – Pre-trial motions for the man accused of killing a Columbus jewelry store manager in 2011 are set to take place on Thursday.
Michael Johnson faces a felony murder charge in connection to the death of Gold and Silver Trading Center manager Steve Toms.
Johnson and five co-defendants are also charged in connection to a string of other robberies across the area.
They face a total of 24 charges collectively.
Pre-trial motions will start at 9:30 a.m. and the actual trial will begin June 1.
