5 women cut from second phase of Ranger School

FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) - Five women have been cut from their second attempt at the first phase of Ranger School.

According to the Army Times, 195 male students will now move on to the mountain phase in Dahlonega, GA.

Three women will be able to start all over during the next Ranger School class on June 21.

A total of 19 women and 381 men started Ranger School April 20.

There is a 45 percent graduation rate for students in Ranger School.
