COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The demolition of the old Ledger-Enquirer building in Uptown Columbus is causing a road closure that will last two weeks, according to a press release by the City of Columbus.
The road closure will be on 12th Street between Broadway and Front Avenue, and will begin on Wednesday, June 3 at 8 a.m. until Tuesday, June 16 at 5 p.m.
The closure enforces the safe demolition of the old Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, located at the intersection of Broadway and 12th Street.
A signed detour route will be posted along Broadway, 10th Street and Front Street.
